After many years of collaboration ELEX and IBA S.A., Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, decided to enhance the partnership by signing a general supply contract, which defines the overall terms and conditions for the supply of products ELEX is delivering to IBA.
The start of collaboration between IBA and ELEX dates back to fall of 2004. That time ELEX granted IBA a contract related to exclusive supply of COSTIS (COmpact Solid Target Irradiation Syste) - today marketed by IBA under the name Nirta® Solid Compact. Since then, the collaboration was step-by-step extended through joint R&D projects, leading to several new products IBA is including now into its IntegraLab® program.
The latest contract defines the overall terms and conditions for the supply of products ELEX is delivering to IBA. It is a general contract IBA has with most of its suppliers, with modifications customized to the specific relation between ELEX and IBA. Based on this contract it is now easy to define the terms and conditions for the delivery of any future product, since only the technical matters related to the specifications of the device should be negotiated.
